Jake Gaddis – Director of Preconstruction

jake gaddis 72dpiJake joined United Architectural Metals in 2008 and has played part in all aspects of the company from estimating to shop drawings, as well as design assist.

Jake graduated from Kent State University with a Masters in Architecture from which he gained the knowledge required to assist the customers with design assist questions all while helping to provide the most efficient, best performing facade available. To do so, he draws on his knowledge of programs including AutoCAD, Revit, Maya, 3DS Max, and various other rendering software.

In addition to directing the design assist department, Jake oversees all the sales and preconstruction operations including sales, estimating, and procurements. He has also played an active role in the development of multiple formulas, spreadsheets, guidelines and standards which have helped to improve project accuracy and efficiency.

Jake is also a registered member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is active in UAM’s efforts at his alma mater in their training of future architects.
