COVID-19 Information

Dear Employees, Customers and Vendors,

As the impact from the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues around the world, we would like to keep you up-to-date with information, guidance and policies that we have put in place so that we can all protect each other. For more information please visit the CDC Website.

As of June 1, 2021:

  • Hygiene

Employees and visitors have the option to wear facial coverings.

Wash your hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds – cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough and immediately wash your hands or sanitize.

Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily – avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Temperature readings are no longer required on a daily basis unless you are sick.

  • Hours & Entry

8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday

Optional Summer Hours 7 am – 4 pm on Fridays until August 27, 2021

Enter the Main office door on the Northwest side of the building or the Plant door on the Southwest side of the building.

No restrictions on leaving the premises.

  • Travel

Domestic Travel is allowed in and out of the State of Ohio.

International Travel must be discussed with your immediate supervisor/manager.

  • Visitors & Access to Our Facility

Vendors and customers may come onsite by appointment and enter the facility through the assigned door, Main Office or Plant entrance. When scheduling an appointment with a vendor or customer, you will be required to meet them at the door or designate someone to let you know when they arrive.

  • Sickness

If you need to call off due to feeling sick, you are required to send an email with your temperature reading by 8am.  If your temperature is less than 100 degrees, you may return to work the next day.   You will be subject to having your temperature taken before entering the building, mid-day and before you leave to go home for the next three days.

If your temperature is 100 degrees or higher, you are required to stay home.  You must submit your temperature every morning by 8am and again at 3pm during this time and will not be allowed to return to work until your temperature is below 100 degrees for 3 consecutive days.  You will be subject to having your temperature taken before entering the building, mid-day and before you leave to go home upon returning to work.

Notify us immediately if you have Covid-19 and have been at our facility or office.  You should seek medical care early and stay away from others. Do not return to work until there are no signs of illness or fever, without the use of a fever reducing medicine, for 72 hours AND 7 days have passed since your symptoms started.  We do have a comprehensive plan for our personnel – please e-mail snesbitt@unitedarchitectural.com if you would like a copy of that plan.

Shop employees will send to Greg at greed@unitedarchitectural.com.  Office employees will send to Shelly at snesbitt@unitedarchitectural.com

As this is a dynamic situation, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and our policies.  Guidelines are likely to change as the situation continues to evolve.  Our focus is sharing information, reducing the potential for the spread of the virus, supporting the continuity of our operations and most importantly protecting people.

Thank you for doing your part in promoting a healthy and safe environment for all people.

Sincerely,

Shelly Nesbitt,
President
